Laboratory Information Systems Manager

Job Description

Laboratory Information Systems Manager needed for a client in the Northeast.

Responsibilities

  • Senior leadership position with considerable latitude to exercise independent judgment
  • Provides administrative day-to-day operation and technical management
  • Manages all Information System activities at a senior-leadership level
  • Includes General Laboratory, Transfusion Services, Anatomic Pathology and related decision support service functions
  • Develops comprehensive strategic plan (short-term and long-range) for Laboratory Information System Division to include selection, contract development and implementation of new general lab system; outreach program and LIS connectivity with physician offices, potential hospital clients, nursing homes and home care agencies; information management, storage and retrieval systems
  • Develops appropriate organizational structure within division to ensure a functional and responsive infrastructure
  • Ensures the Laboratory Information System Division meets all applicable regulatory standards and requirements including NYSDOH, CAP, JCAHO, AABB and OSHA
  • Establishes procedures and schedules to meet operational needs which support the annual processing of over 3.5 million billed tests at five testing locations with an additional 25 off-site registration locations
  • Directly supervises Laboratory Information System staff and indirectly supervises LIS activities of section data base coordinators

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences with proven experience in clinical laboratory information technology or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science with clinical laboratory experience
  • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience with increasing responsibility for strategic planning and direction of information systems operations
  • Must be an entrepreneurial and participative manager with strong integrity and ethics and a proven track record in consolidation and integration efforts

Job Description

ServiceNow Business System Analyst needed for 12+ month contract in the Greater St. Louis Area. Requires weekly travel to client site (arrive Sunday night, leave Friday afternoon). Remote work is not an option. Local candidates or candidates willing to relocate are highly desired.

Technical Skills

MyChart Patient Portal Remote Help Desk Support Services

Job Description

Responsible for answering incoming calls, completing incident registration, and working through incident and problem management for all Tier 1 customer support calls regarding Epic MyChart. This is a 3-year engagement with 100% remote work.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Escalate any customer requests that cannot be resolved to client's analyst team
  • Must be flexible and willing to work varying shifts, as this is a 24/7, 365-day service
  • Customer service and IT support experience required

Technical and Language Skills

  • 3+ years of experience with Epic MyChart Patient Portal preferred
  • Experience with ITSM (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.) preferred
  • Client-specific MyChart training will be provided in June/July prior to go live

Job Description

ServiceNow Application Specialist needed for a long-term contract in the Greater St. Louis Area. Local candidates or those willing to relocate will receive special consideration. This position is on site Monday-Friday. Remote work is not an option (100% travel role).

Responsibilities

  • Act as top-level technical expert in highly specialized phases of operating systems, applications and software development/programming
  • Provide technical consulting on complex projects. Frequently serve as liaison between client infrastructure and vendors

Responsibilities

  • Provide system support for various enterprise and department software applications, like 3M Coding and Reimbursement, along with Forms On-Demand
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs
  • Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
  • Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain those programs
  • Provide application support for a suite of applications, including HIM, security and document management
  • Respond to customer-based break/fix issues
  • Analyze and take appropriate action on various monitoring alerts (may include HL-7 analysis)

Cloverleaf Integration Analyst

Job Description

Cloverleaf Integration Analyst needed for a long-term role with a client in the Midwest.
Expected contract length of 12+ months with travel to client site required.
Through requests from clinical and business applications including Epic, the Integration Interface Team completes approximately 60 changes per month to existing and new interfaces. In addition, the team manages approximately 195 tasks per month.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Requires inclusion in a support rotation with other team members 24/7
  • May require weekend or non-business hours work for maintenance activities
  • Manage allocation of work on support ticket, problem queues, change queues and work order queues
  • Assist with daily problem management activities, trend and root cause analysis
