Celebrating International Day of Friendship in Health IT

Fun Fact: Did you know that July 30 is International Day of Friendship? The United Nations proclaimed the International Day of Friendship in 2011 with the idea that friendship among organizations, cultures and individuals can inspire peace and build bridges between communities. The day recognizes friendship as a valuable sentiment that promotes dialogue and mutual understanding. Within the proclamation, resolution A/RES/65/275 places specific emphasis on involving young people, as future leaders, in community activities that include different cultures and promote international understanding and respect for diversity.

How can you advance the ideals of International Day of Friendship?
